Dargon Writers' Summit Photos

This is our host, Max Khaytsus. While you really can't see him very well, I think this picture tells us a great deal about the man who is the most prolific writer in Dargon history (and boy, doesn't he hate being reminded of that!). Max has 30 stories to his credit -- and that's counting his current two-year hiatus! Here we see Max risking life and limb on his climb to the top. He wanted me to voice his gratitude to the National Park Service for placing that "Rock Climbing Prohibited" sign in such a place that it afforded a good place to get a boost!

But more seriously, Max did a wonderful job hosting the 1996 DargonZine Writers' Summit from his home outside Denver. His hospitality was worth noting, and his patience with a roving pack of egomaniacal writers impressive. Much thanks go to Max for making this gathering happen!
