We're sorry, but we recently removed our Links page from the DargonZine Web site.

Why did we dismantle our Links page? Well, we thought about it, and it just didn't make sense for us to maintain.

A good Links page requires constant care, ensuring that you are linking to the very best sites in their categories, and ensuring that the sites you link to are still active and up to date.

We do spend some time visiting sites devoted to fantasy, medieval history, writing, and other electronic magazines, but maintaining a Links page takes a lot of work and really doesn't contribute to our goal of improving as writers.

Furthermore, Link pages just don't add any value anymore. Just about everyone has one, and anything that anyone would link to can usually be found faster and easier on any of the major search engines or index sites.

Looking at what DargonZine is about, neither our readers nor our writers come to us in order to visit our Links page. They come to us to enjoy our fiction. We hope that you agree with us when we say that we think DargonZine isn't a gateway or a portal; we think it's a destination. That's why we have decided to disband our Links page.
