DargonZine News Feeds

RSS Feed IconThis page describes how to have new DargonZine issues automatically listed on various web services.

DargonZine announces its issues to other computer systems using RSS. If you use a system that can read an RSS feed, you can set it up so that announcements of new issues appear directly within your preferred news reader. You can have issue announcements appear on your Google Homepage, My Yahoo! page, in Windows Live, in Newsgator, in your Firefox Live Bookmarks, in LiveJournal, or with any other RSS news readers.

Google

Google allows you to add RSS feeds to your Google homepage or to read them in Google Reader. You can follow this link to learn more about Google Reader or you can read about iGoogle, which personalizes your Google Search homepage: Add to Google Reader or iGoogle

My Yahoo!

If you want to add DargonZine's feed to your My Yahoo! page, all you need to do is click this link: Add DargonZine to My Yahoo!

Once you've added DargonZine to the list of RSS feeds you're watching, announcements of new issues will appear automatically!

Windows Live

Microsoft offers a service called Windows Live that allows you to create blogs, share content, or monitor updates from other websites. Learn more by visiting the Windows Live website.

Mozilla Firefox Live Bookmarks

The Firefox browser has a feature called Live Bookmarks. If you add DargonZine's Live Bookmark, each time a new issue is sent out, your bookmarks will automatically be updated to include a link to the new issue.

To add DargonZine's Live Bookmark to your Firefox bookmarks, click on the orange Live Bookmark icon when viewing any DargonZine Web page. Depending on which version of Firefox you have, the icon may be at the bottom of your browser window, or inside the URL/address bar.

Weblogs and LiveJournal

Many Weblog systems have the concept of a friends list: a list of other Weblogs that you regularly read. If you add DargonZine's RSS feed to your friends list, each time a new issue comes out, a posting will appear that briefly announces the new issue.

To determine whether and how your Weblog system supports RSS feeds, consult your online help.

If you're a user of LiveJournal, you can have new issue announcements appear on your friends page by adding the user dargonzine_feed to your friends list. You can also do that by clicking here on add DargonZine to LiveJournal friends.

Other RSS News Readers

There are many other systems out there that read RSS feeds, including several dedicated news readers. In general, you can add DargonZine to your news reader simply by adding the URL of our RSS feed to the list of feeds that you subscribe to. Again, our RSS feed is located at the URL
