Lest you think our Summits are all fun and games, here's a photograph from our Sunday working session. After Saturday's discussion of co-authoring, we paired up and each group was given an incomplete story premise to turn into a fully-written story by the next morning. Then, after reading each of the stories, we debriefed on how it worked and compared the experience to what we'd hypothesized the day before. It was the primary topic of the Summit, and we really made some great observations and plans for how to further support co-authoring attempts in the future. There was even talk of finishing up two of the three stories from the writing exercise and printing them in DargonZine! In this photo, Dafydd and Rhonda Gomez are hard at work on their collaboration. In case you're curious, they composed with pen and paper, while the other four participants all wrote at their computers. | |
