One of the special benefits of this year's Summit was our opportunity to do firsthand research into medieval life in its original setting. And one of the most memorable experiences for our writers was our visit to the Huntly Falconry Centre, where we saw, and participated in, flying demonstrations of barn owls, a sea eagle, a Harris hawk, a bald eagle, and a saker falcon.
