Charles Dickens described Glencoe as "the burial ground of a race of giants". Towering up from sea level at Loch Leven, the Three Sisters rise over 3750 feet to dominate the broad waste of Rannoch Moor.

Here Jon Evans stands before Aonach Eagach, one of the peaks surrounding Glencoe Gorge. Having spent his previous three months in Saudi, the Summit was Jon's first stop on his return home. Scotland's mountains, lush greens, and intermittant rains were a welcome change, as were the lasses and scotch whisky and ales. All week long, it was hard to keep a smile from Jon's happy face.
