Our arrival in Glencoe was heralded by a beautiful rainbow over our guest house. After an excellent meal, we proceeded through working sessions on effective critiquing, writing action scenes, and religion. As evening wore on and our supplies of scotch whisky were depleted, we enjoyed several games, and then turned the lights down for some tarot readings. But the highlights of the evening were the conversations which followed, and we left Glencoe a much closer and caring group than we'd been before we arrived. Contrary to the treacherous massacre that took place here back in 1692 at William of Orange's command, Glencoe will always be a very treasured memory for the Dargon crew. Here Jon Evans, Stu Whitby, and Rhonda Gomez climb down from the hill overlooking Aonach Eagach and Glencoe Gorge. | |
