The Benson Bridge, spanning the pool between the upper and lower cataracts of Multnomah Falls, was built in 1914 by Italian stonemasons, replacing an older log bridge. It provides both an up-close look at the immense falls as well as an unparalelled photo opportunity, as illustrated here by our writers P. Atchley and Liam Donahue. Ms. Atchley recently rejoined the project after an eight-month sabbatical, and has been a great help in getting our forthcoming Black Idol story arc ready for publication. Still, she did manage to throw our Summit planners a curve ball by only deciding to attend the Summit 24 hours before it began! | |
