It is simply impossible to overstate Dafydd Cyhoeddwr's contribution to DargonZine. He is our longest continual member, by far our most prolific writer, and the most influntial creator of our common setting. He also spent five years as the editor of DargonZine. At this year's Summit he delivered an invaluable white paper discussing how commercial multi-writer anthologies have worked, and he is currently leading an initiative to get our writers to tie their stories together much more closely than ever before. As our last working session topic, Ornoth surprised Dafydd with a plaque bearing the DargonZine logo, a depiction of Mt. Hood, and the inscription, “In grateful recognition of his contributions as a writer, project member, and editor, the Dargon Project Board of Directors hereby present Dafydd Cyhoeddwr with our first lifetime achievement award”.
