Sunday was departure day, and with no working sessions, people slept in. We did sneak in a quick game of Settlers before people had to start leaving for the airport. Tired good-byes were said, and we undertook the journey back home, carrying with us the precious memories of another wonderful encounter with our longtime friends and fellow writers. We also want to thank Liam for a fine job of hosting. There are always some minor hiccups at every Summit, but they were few and far between this year. On top of that, Liam and his wife put four of us up at their house, provided food and drink and cooked several meals, and provided space for our working sessions. Leading up to and throughout the Summit, Liam did his best to cater to everyone's needs and ensure that our four days in Cincinnati were comfortable and productive, and he deserves copious thanks for such a well-run Summit. | |
