Our climb up Mount Charleston was made doubly difficult due to the amount of snow that was still on the ground: another stark difference between Mount Charleston and the valley floor. Here you can see project member Carlo Samson on the snow-clad slopes around 9,000 feet. Carlo is one of DargonZine's earliest contributors, and he has also done most of our artwork for the past decade. In recent years, he and Mark Murray, another former DargonZine writer, founded their own magazine called Arcane Twilight. We will be steering some of our writers who aren't comfortable working in a shared world to them, while they will be steering some of their contributors over to us if they're more interested in peer review and a working community of writers. Both Carlo and Mark have also spoken about the possibility of writing additional stories for DargonZine, and we hope to be able to bring those works to you as soon as we can. | |
