Naturally, we had to hit one of Las Vegas' infamous casinos. In our case, we avoided the Strip and spent some time in the casino which was closest to our Southern Highlands ranch home. The South Point casino is housed in an immense resort and hotel complex that dominates the skyline south of town. We tried our hands at blackjack, roulette, craps, and slots, with varying success rates. As a group, we wound up with a net loss, but a tolerable one, and we did enjoy our time in the bright lights.
