Although a few of us opted to spend the time relaxing in the hot tub, our two married couples -- Jim & Naomi Owens and Liam and Maryellen Donahue -- made an evening expedition up to the Strip to see the sights. After looking around the interior of Paris Las Vegas, they took a ride to the top of the half scale, 540-foot Eiffel Tower to capture this panoramic shot of the Strip at night. They were also able to see the Bellagio's famous fountain water show from that perch, making for a very memorable evening. It's always nice to meet our writers' partners. By getting to know the people in the project, the spouses will often become more comfortable giving our contributors the alone time that writing often requires. And in this case we doubly benefited when Jim's wife Naomi decided to join the project as a new contributing writer! | |
